My account information was compromised and I contacted one Nevada, so that I can report fraudulent activity and unauthorized transactions on my account. The representative was very helpful nice and made the experience very easy. Moving forward I was in the hospital i did not have my card and I couldn’t check the app to see my account because it was not working. When I finally checked I see once again there’s a plethora of unauthorized transactions on my account, to top it off my account was so overdrawn that I couldn’t even believe it. I called one Nevada and the guy I spoke to was extremely rude and mean for absolutely no reason, now I work at a bank and was already planning on closing my one Nevada account and bank with my bank, but that interaction I had with the representative really made me want to close it immediately. My issue is one Nevada sent a text asking if I made a transaction for pizza and I did but for the life of me why didn’t I get a text asking me about all the other transactions made in another state that were hundreds of dollars, made absolutely no sense to me I’m using my card in Nevada and it showed on the same day my card was used in California multiple times and I had my card!!!! That’s absurd… so I eventually get the disputes done and finally get the overdraft protection off that I have been trying to get removed forever. Moving forward I get a call from one Nevada asking me if I’m going to put money in my account because it’s negative. I explained to the gentleman I just had just got out the hospital I just spoke to you guys yesterday filing disputes due to fraud so my card is closed and I don’t feel comfortable putting my money where it isn’t safe. I also explained I’m not paying overdraft fees for charges I did not make. His response was when can you pay the overdraft fees!!! I nearly lost it the lack of care and empathy was beyond me i couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He then told me there’s no record of me calling prior so all he cares about is when I can pay. After going back and forth with him he says oh I’m so sorry I do see you have some fraudulent claims from yesterday, when will you pay the fees I just immediately got off the phone once everything is resolved with the credit union my hands are washed… also I got a letter in the mail saying my loan for $31k was denied I never once inquired about a loan from them in my life but that’s another story… beware of one Nevada

One Nevada Credit Union lied to me for 7 straight months. My vehicle was illegally towed and I had to use my debit card to get it back. They opened up a case in March for me and closed it in May and reopened it in June and closed it again in October. Their denial letters say that I have the right to request the information they used to determine my case. I requested the information in May and also October and did not get the information because the people doing the investigating don't have phones only emails and I'm not allowed to have their email address and they're mailing address is from Florida.. So I walked into a branch in October and demanded to find out what's going on and the One Nevada representative told me that the card services department should have never taken my case because it was not fraud. So I took the towing company to civil district court and the judge determined it was fraud and ordered the tow company to give back my $262.00. I believe the card services department is a third party and One Nevada lost a class action lawsuit a few years back because they sold our private information to third parties so apparently they haven't learned their lesson. They are nothing but Liars and they punked
me for 7 straight months. They apologized for my vehicle getting towed but did not apologize for their phony card services department.

I’ve banked for over 60 years, never have I run into the mistakes that one Nevada makes. When I first took out our small mortgage I was told they would withdraw money from my savings account on the 15th of the month. Payment was due on the first, late on the 16th. That went all right for maybe a year. And then I get a notice that There were insufficient funds in my savings account to make my mortgage payment on the first of whatever month.
I called up and was informed that they no longer withdraw it on the 15th, but on the first. I asked how they had notified me and I don’t recall the answer but obviously they had not notified me. So, fine. I’ll have money in there for them to withdraw from my savings account on the 1st.
Using bill payer I had my bank send them a check August 26 to cover my September 1 payment By August 31 they still had not posted that check to my savings account. So I wrote out a check and took pictures of the front and back and submitted it on the 31st. They acknowledged that they had received it and a deer to later I was told I could tear up that check They were able to withdraw the payment that was due. But do I have The check my bank sent them credited to my savings account? No, because they still don’t show that they ever received it. However the bank shows that the transaction was completed and the check is available for them to look at.
I don’t know where the money goes but this is the second time they have done this to me. The first time I called up and said where is my deposit and they responded that all the accounts operate under the same account number with no differentiation, and so they applied that payment as an extra payment to my loan. I do not believe the person that told me that was accurate.
I do notice that this is not a federal credit Union. I am thinking that perhaps their accounting procedures are not up to federal standards.
I gave two stars because I have an excellent interest-rate.

DO NOT RECOMMEND One Nevada Credit Union to any body!
I’m extremely disappointed in One Nevada Credit Union.
To sign my auto loan I went to the local branch on Serene, LV. and was helped by J. Mac Garcia. I signed the loan, but I didn’t get any good explanation of how the interest rate will be calculated. I think Mac Garcia has no training to do this job. He doesn’t understand how important is to explain key points of the loan especially to borrower who doesn’t know much about loans. Just sign here, sign there it isn’t of any help, at all.
I felt paying twice more interest, so I decided to pay off my loan much faster, after 1 and a half year instead 5 years.
I turned to Liz Lowder Ence for help couple of times, but that was another painful experience.
My biggest disappointment come at the end when I realized that Mac Garcia mislead me about the Gap Insurance, so I end up losing another $499.
I requested to see my original signatures on the loan pages, but my request was denied.
For 1 and a half year with One Nevada I lost over $2,000 and I had to deal with a lot of frustration. Go to the big bank!

This is the credit card needed in unexpected situations. Annual fees and high percentage rates aren't the best features, however most people are approved and if payments are made on time it will help build better credit.

BEWARE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT!!!! I have been a member for almost 10 years. I applied for a car loan to buy out the car I have had on lease, and was denied. I have perfect credit history except for 2 late payments when covid began and I was sick. I contact BMW to push the lease payments out since I was sick which they did, but they still reports them as late at the beginning of 2020. So two late payments in 2020 and 100% on time or early with all other credit cards and they deny me. I had a letter added to credit file explaining issue 6 months ago. I asked why I was denied and they claimed multiple late payments. I asked if it was the 2 to BMW and they refuse to answer. Told me I would get a letter which I never did! I was a member of another credit union before joining One Nevada as recommended and could get a loan at anytime with great rates! I talked to the person who suggest I move and they have since left also due to rude service, and problems with them messing up their credit. This bank needs to be shut down or sued for all the shady stuff they do! FYI, BMW and CapitalOne both offered to finance the car with Zero down and a good rate. Figured I would try the credit union, big waste of time and ended up with multiple hits on my credit from them that wont go away for years.... AVOID THIS BANK!!!!

I DO NOT recommend !! I wish I could give a 0 score. The phrase, "One hand doesn't know what the other is doing" applies. I paid off my car loan with them 8 years ago and received my title signed off by one of their representatives as paid off and title lien released and I zero'ed out and closed all of my accounts with them. However, a few months ago I received a letter from them recommending I change my user name. When I called today to check on it fearing identity theft, they said they have an outstanding balance in their Collections Department for that car loan. WTH ! It is now supposedly in a manager's hands. I'll try to add an update once it is resolved.

I unfortunately bank with these folks. 1st their system doesnt allow you to transfer funds from one bank to another- So you will need to set up Google Pay, however any APP transaction can get flagged and when you cancel the transaction it takes them more then a few days to clear the pending transaction from your account. Most normal banks have up to date systems that will release funds back into the account however One nevada does not. Their customer service will not help and will ask for a letter head from the APP institution to release the funds back. Google Pay will NOT do this after speaking to one of their reps and it is due to the fact they send multiple cancel confirmations that should be considered sufficient. Dont waste your time with this Dinosaur of a bank

The initial purchase transaction went OK. We got a very low 3.125% fixed rate in August 2017 and I don't have much complaints about that. We did not quite get to 20% down, so we pay about $33 PMI for the first 21 months of the mortgage. The PMI will fall off automatically without a refi once we get to a certain level of equity based on the purchase price.
TL;DR: Our loan officer called me up a year after the purchase and tried to scam me with a refi loan that would cost more now, probably more for the next year, and definitely more after the next year. She didn't listen to me at any point in the conversation, or she did listen to me but she just has a low opinion of my intelligence.
A year later, the One Nevada CU loan officer who helped with the purchase called to let me know that the home value had risen and that a refi could remove the PMI. I explained that we only pay $33 in monthly PMI and we have less than a year to go. The cost of the refi transaction couldn't possibly be less than the $330 in total future PMI. That's not even enough for an appraisal, much less a credit check and bank loan fee. The loan officer wouldn't give up though. She pointed out that the $33 in PMI could go to the principal instead. I tried to explain that even if the refi were 100% free, the short term PMI savings would be wiped out by paying higher interest since rates have risen. And after July 2019, we would be stuck with the higher rate for the life of the loan, much more expensive than a year with PMI. I don't think I got through to her why this was such a bad deal, or maybe she didn't care.
It just goes to show that a credit union won't hesitate to rip off less gullible consumers just as many of the larger banks have been doing. It's more than a little disappointing.
