I made this for a friend for Christmas. She can decorate the
picture area as she chooses.
The clipboard used is Stampin Up's 4 1/2 x 9 inch
clipboard. I started by preparing a piece of white CS to stamp. I sponged
Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and More
Mustard over the entire sheet. (I did enough for 2 flowers.) Here is what
the paper looked like.
You are then going to stamp with VersaMark using the
large flower 3 images. Use clear emboss over the VersaMark and use your heat
gun to emboss the flower. I then cut my paper out into squares.
Next I brayered over the flower with Close to Cocoa and
then wiped off the image.
Now you want to define where you want your 3 flower
layers to be. So carefully cut out the large flower first. Then the second
layer and then the top layer. I then used the stem kind of stamp in the set
and stamped on a scrap with close to cocoa and embossed it with clear. Use
dimensionals to put your flower together. Set aside while you do the
clipboard.
I cut a 4 1/2 x 7" piece of close to cocoa and cut out
around the top. I then stamped it with the Tres Chic stamp.
Then I cut a piece of Close to Cocoa Designer Paper 4 1/2
x 2 1/4 inches. These will overlap when put on the clipboard. I then used
our Anywhere Glue on the back of the biggest piece on both the paper and the
clipboard. Then attach the smaller piece. Add your ribbon, I used our
Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon. Love that stuff! Cut a piece of Chocolate
Chip CS to 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. Use the corner rounder punch to do the corners.
Locate where you want it and glue it down. Tie a piece of ribbon around the
top in a knot. Attach your flower at the base of the clipboard.
Stamp on a piece of Close to Cocoa with the Dare to Be
Fabulous Stamp. Layer it with a piece of a chocolate chip CS. Attach to the
clipboard.
