Sassy Suzie Card

May 24, 08

Sassy Suzie is just that, she is perfect for those girlfriend cards. She is easy to color and in the mini catalog, so if you want her, order her soon as she could be going away. We've been told that some of the stamp sets in the Mini Catalog could make it into the next catalog but we don't know yet which ones. It was just announced yesterday that the retired list will be out on June 15th. I'm so glad they decided to bring it out early, I'm going to convention in Salt Lake City and want to get my swap cards done.

Here's the Sassy Suzie card I made this morning for you. I've got another cute one to show but have to wait until after Stamp Camp to share it. Stamp Camp is in Huntsville and if you'd like to come, contact me. I colored Suzie with a blender pen and markers on watercolor paper.

If you would like to order the Sassy Suzie stamp set -she is 15% off until the end of the month.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

To glitter the star, I used SU Chunky Glitter and Tombrow Glue. I used White Craft Ink and White Embossing Powder on the lettering.

Embrace Life Card

May 14, 08

This is a simple card to make without a lot of layers. I stamped the linen background on Vanilla Cardstock and also on the card itself. I use the brayer to make sure I get good contact on the paper when using big stamps. I then stamped the images from the Embrace Life Stampset right over the background and colored them in. Easy Peasy!

Wild About You!

I love this set for baby cards. This is a really fast card to put together once you get your cutting done. If you were to do this card on a square card you would have room to use the heads of 2 other animals on the card.

Bloomin Beautiful Card

May 1, 08

This card is just gorgeous IRL. The image was stamped with Black Stazon on Shimmery White CS two times. It was colored with a blender pen and markers. Then flowers were layered on the main image. I then used a VersaMark pen and sprinkled with glitter.

Looking at this picture you can see how the flowers are raised.
