I bought some Easter
Pencils the other day with this project
in mind. These are perfect for the kids
Easter baskets or for a school treat.
After all they always need pencils. The
holder part is 1 x 8 1/2 scored and
folded at every inch. Use your 1/2 inch
punch to make the holes. The bunny face
is done with SU punches and I used
googlie eyes. I used the Wonderful Wings
Embosslit die for the butterflies and
Boho Blossoms punch for the flowers. A
cotton ball or puff will complete this
project.
Have a great weekend!
Spring is Coming!
March 12, 2010
When I start making
Easter cards I always know Spring is
right around the corner. Besides it is
bright and sunny outside and I am
grilling outside tonight!
Stamp set used is Abundant Hope out of
the Mini and I colored in the image with
our Markers. I love the white tone on
tone layering, so fresh!
The flowers were made using the wings
from the bird punch. The greeting is
from Eggcoutrements out of the
mini
catalog.

What a Glorious Weekend!
March 8, 2010
We were in the 70's
most of the weekend and I got to go out
and play in the gardens as the first
flower shoots are beginning to pop up.
In the next few weeks we should start
seeing our flowering trees start to
bloom and I really love this time of
year here in the Rocket City. I had
intended to get in my stamp room today
with my friends but we couldn't drag
ourselves in as we enjoyed the sunshine
and cooked some ribs on the grill.
I decided to show you
instead of the new stuff I had planned
to do a couple more cards we did at card
class a few weeks ago. This first card
uses the Chocolate Bunny stamp set
available in the mini catalog.
This card uses the beautiful
Embosslits Die, Beautiful Wings and the
new Scallop Punch available only thru
SAB which ends March 31.
Last but not least, look at our cute
Punch Clown we did. This card was
designed by Amanda for a Leadership
Swap. Love him!!! The background of the
card was stamped with Circle Circus.
Please check
the monthly archives on the right
for more cards and projects.
