Stamp Camp!!!
June 25, 09
Our first sessions of
stamp camp were held today out in Jones
Valley. We had a full house for the
morning session. We did 4 sets of
projects including a picture frame and
flowers using the Big Shot, a card
holder with 4 cards, a rose pin with
matching carry case purse, and 3 x 3
note cards with a holder made with the
envelope die. Over the next week I will
share with you some of the projects and
our displays. The price of stamp camp
included the stamp set Fifth Avenue
Floral and several of the projects were
designed around it.
The flowers on this card were done using
a burnishing technique.
These are a couple of the display cards.
This card uses the stamp set, Happiness
is a Journey.
Charity made these cute In Color rings
for her guests.
Gift Bags I made for my
ladies filled with a roll of ribbon, some 6
x 6 designer paper and a matchbox die box
filled with Hershey's Kisses. They also got
a copy of the NEW CATALOG today!!! You can
also with my special above. The flowers are
cut using the Daisy Die and the Sizzix.
Mom's Birthday Card
June 24, 09
I forgot I had
this card to share with you. I made
it last week for my mom's birthday.
I am so sorry to see that this paper
is retiring. It doesn't show in the
picture but I used some Dazzling
Diamonds on the flowers to give the
card a little bling.

Father's Day Projects From My
Friends
June 17, 09
One of the best
things for me about being a Stampin' Up!
demo is the wonderful friends I have
made that I never would of met any other
way. The projects I have today were
shared by some of my demo friends. Kathi
did this cute Frap bottle with one of
her groups last weekend. I am giving
this one to my dad filled with his
favorite nuts.
Celeste designed this
card for Father's Day using the Faux
Wood Technique and using the stamp set
Totally Tools which is in the mini
catalog. It also will be available in
the new catalog.
I will be gone for a
few days for a visit with my mom. I have
some more projects ready to share with
you then. Have a great weekend and enjoy
your creativity!

Razzle Dazzle
June 14, 09
I had to laugh
when I saw the name of this stamp
set as I own a recipe website by the
same name,
Razzle Dazzle Recipes. I inked
this set yesterday for the first
time. I love the fact that we now
have In Color Markers! I colored the
image with the markers and then
stamped on Shimmery White. The
squares of paper are cut from the
new DSP Razzleberry Lemonade. The
ribbon is the new Crushed Curry.
This is a view of
the inside of the card decorated. I
always use a layer of white when the
card is a dark cardstock to write
on, plus it looks pretty!
I hope you are
enjoying your weekend! Till next
time, happy stamping!!!
Fifth Avenue Card and Animal
Tales
June 13, 09
This is the card I
started to make yesterday when I ended
up with the card below. I had seen this
card and just had to try it. There is a
layer of vellum over the Bella Rose DSP
which softens it considerable. The stamp
set is Fifth Avenue Floral and I stamped
on Shimmery White and used a blender pan
to color with Pink Pirouette. Then I
used a Pretty in Pink Watercolor Crayon
and the blender pen to give some
contrast. The image is covered with
Dazzling Diamonds. The ribbon is Kiwi
Kiss Taffeta Ribbon. The leaves are cut
out with the Sizzix using the Little
Leaves die. The buttons are Stampin'
Up!.
I had an email the
other day wanting to know about Lola and
Chloe. For those of you that don't know,
they are our Shorkie (half Yorkie and
half Shitz Zu) puppies from the same
parents, different litters. It is so
funny one looks like her mom and has her
dad's personality and the other looks
like her dad and has her mom's
personality. Lola is 1 1/2 years and
Chloe is about 9 months old. We have so
much fun with them. They are a pair and
I can not imagine one without the other.
They do everything together! Here are
their latest pictures after their
haircuts yesterday. I could not get them
both in the same picture looking cute.
If you are considering getting one of
these puppies, I would be happy to
answer any questions you may have.
This is Chloe at 9 months, weights
about 6 lbs.
This is Lola, 1 1/2 years about 8
lbs.
While I am on animal
tales, Zelda was moved a couple of days
to her new permanent home. Yesterday she
was put out to pasture for the first
time. She is loving her new home and
just waiting for Tori to get down to
Alabama to love her.
I had forgotten what
work taking care of a horse can be,
especially when she is about 10 miles
away. I keep running out to the barn to
make sure she is adjusting to her new
home. So far, so good! I do love going
out there so enjoy it very much. In
fact, I am going to start looking for
another horse in July so we can ride
with Tori. She is a beautiful little 2
year old and as sweet as can be!
A Rose is a Rose Card
June 12, 09
I really enjoyed
making this card once I got started. I
used some of my Bella Rose DSP which is
on the retired list. I am really going
to miss Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette.
The leaves were made using the Sizzix.
The silver bracket is from the
Hodgepodge Kit. The roses were stamped
in Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirouette.
Animal Crackers Sneak Peak
June 10, 09
This stamp set is
from the new Stampin' Up! catalog that
comes out July 1. This set I used here
is Animal Crackers. I love the sneak
peak papers we have gotten to see so
far. The colors are so fun, rich and
vivid! We got a sneak peak at the DSP
that matches this set, Tall Tailes which
I used for the first 2 cards. The third
card uses Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.
Love, love these colors! The polka-dot
ribbon is our new In Color Ribbon.
If you received my
newsletter today you have until the 14th
to get the special I have in it. Contact

Relax
June 5, 09
I used the stamp set
And Many Mower for the next card teamed
with some Parisian Breeze DSP. The image
is colored with markers and a blender
pen. It only took a few minutes to make
so if you need a speedy man card this is
it! I am really loving these large white
grommets.
Watch for some new
cards using new stamp sets and paper
coming this weekend.
I love this designer
paper and was so happy to see it stayed
in the new catalog. I had actually
bought some thinking it might retire to
hoard. Now I know I can still get it for
another year. In case you have not heard
the new catalog is absolutely fabulous!
To reserve your copy email me and I will
be sending them out as soon as they
arrive for $7.00 each.
