I went to a friend of mine's house yesterday and made
this cute calendar for 2009. It is so much fun when you just get to sit and
stamp and someone else has done all of the design work and prepping! So a
big thanks to Thelma Collins for designing this project for us!!!
January's page uses the Big Shot for the snowflakes and
the Snow wheel for the design at the bottom. All of the snowflakes were
glittered.
February's page has used our new Valentine stamp set -
Love You Much and our new 3 heart punch that matches the stamp set featured
in our Valentines special this
month. The envelope was made with the Big Shot using the Scallop Envelope
Die.
March uses the Faux
Silk Technique and Inspired By Nature Stamp Set. The cattails are made
by using the Horizontal Slot Punch.
April uses one of our Level 2 Hostess Sets - Serene
Spring and Garden Whimsy to create the background. The Saffron Yellow piece
is cut with using the Big Shot with the Top Note Die.
May is one of my favorite pages and it uses the A Rose is
a Rose stamp set, with a 2 step stamping technique.
June uses Loads of Love and It's a Sign stamp sets.
July uses Wild About you on this cute page and the
background is done using See You Around.
August features By The Sea. The paper was torn and
layered. We used a template for the clouds and sponged around it.
September uses one of my favorite fall stamp sets - With
Gratitude and we did the Rock and Roll technique. The solid leaves were cut
out using the Big Shot.
October uses Harvest Home and and the Fall Harvest Wheel.
November's page uses Bon Appetit and the Canvas
Background Stamp. As you can see I did not get good coverage when I stamped
the background so I decided to take advantage of the blank spots and added
Bon Appetit!
December uses the snowflake from Winter post and the Big
Shot to cut the Ornament and the Peace, Love and Joy. The centers of the
snowflakes are glittered.
The names of the months were added using the Full
Calendar stamp set.
