Valentine's Day Mail Box

Project Valentine's Day Mail Box
Paper: Rose Red Designer Paper
Ink: Rose Red, Black Stazon and Copic Markers
Stamp Set: Happy Heart Day
Other Items Used: Ribbons

The mailbox is from the dollar area at Target. They come in red, white and pink.

To start cut a 12 x 4 inch piece of designer paper. I used sticky strip around both edges of the mailbox and the bottom to attach the designer paper. To get around the flag, I held the paper at the bottom seam of the mailbox. Wrap the paper up to where the flag is. Carefully press down on metal piece that attaches the flag to the mailbox. There is a little round metal circle there. You should see a slight impression there. Using a 1/2 inch circle punch cut out a hole there. Then cut a tiny slit in from edge so you can get the paper around the flag.

Stamp the elephant and the tag out from the Happy Heart Day stamp set with Stazon. (if you are using Copics, if you are using SU Markers, Black Classic ink will be fine) Color your images and cut out around the elephant. Punch out the tag with the tag punch. Use the large punch to cut a second tag out of Pixie Pink. Punch a hole for the ribbon. Using ribbon attach tag to flag.

Tie on ribbons on the flag. I punched out tags with white and pixie pink to go over the flag. I then stamped the white images. Attach with pop dots.

Trace around the front door panel. Cut out a piece out of the designer paper. Attach the elephant image to the front. Tie a bow for on top of the elephants head.
