Huntsville, Alabama Retreat
Retreat got over yesterday and a wonderful
time was had by all. We had 5 sets of projects and over 120 people attended in 3
sessions. I am so lucky to belong to the First Impressions group and have Joann
Wiemers as my upline!
It takes tremendous preparation by everyone
to do a retreat on this scale but when you see the ladies enjoying the projects
it makes it all worth it. I also got to work with a group of ladies with an
abundance of talent. I have never worked on a design team before and was
thrilled when a couple of my projects became a final product for stamp camp. The first one was the
Sassy Suzie
Gift Card I uploaded last night without the bra. The other was just a concept when I went home
from our first meeting. The result was a Beach Survival Kit.

Here it is open.

The contents include a bookmark (sandals), chapstick holder (Life's A Breeze,
Memo Pad with Bling Pen, Nail File (not done at stamp camp) with Keychain, Inner Tube with a Life
Safer candy on the back and a Belly Band around the tin.
Directions can be found here to make this kit.
Some of our other projects were:

Designed by Kathi Jenkins - there is a matching coaster but mine is not finished
yet. I'll post it when it is.

Fourth of July Set Designed by Thelma

Designed by Christy

Designed by Karen Hurd - I made a mistake when cutting the edge so mine is
a little different than hers. I had to cut off a little more so I added the rub
ons on the side.
Here are some pictures taken at stamp camp.

Joann is above in the orange top.

This is my first group of ladies I taught the Beach Survival Kit, I should of
had a demo survival kit to give them!

Above is Kristy teaching.
That's Karen in the black apron below.
