The other day in the mail I was lucky enough to get a couple of cards Elizabeth had just made. One is a Valentine Card she made for her dad to give her mom and the other was a Thank You Card made for me. They are both wonderful so I wanted to share them with you.

A few of my demo friends have decided to do a mini swap using SAB stamps. I did this card yesterday but you will have to wait until next week to see the one I choose to swap. Don't you hate that? The centers of the flowers are covered with Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds.

I used our new Circle Cutter today for the first time and it is wonderful! Cutting Circles has never been so easy! I am so glad I purchased it.

I ordered this set a while ago and decided this afternoon to get it out and see what it was like. I went for a simple card and this is the result.

I really like the way it turned out and if you needed either a quick card or have a quantity to do, this would be a wonderful choice. What you can't see on this card is the white background layer. I ran it thru the Big Shot with some of our Texture Plates and it is covered with tiny white dots.

I took a class from Joann last week and did 5 different cards. They were all wonderful and I want to share a couple with you. This first one uses Just Buzzin By from the Fall Winter catalog.

You can't see it in the photos but the lines have dazzling glitter on them. The next was an easy card using our new Fifth Avenue set. We will soon have a Sizzix die that matches it. How cool is that? The flower was embossed in Chocolate Chip with Iridescent Ice. The greeting label is cut out with one of new Sizzix dies.

I have finally jumped on the Workshop and Class wagon, I've been asked to teach for a while now and am taking the plunge! I have three classes scheduled in March the week of the 15th. I made this card the other day. I used our new Delicate Dots DSP and the Ribbon Bundle in the SAB catalog and A Little Birdie Told Me stamp set. I stamped the bird images on the DSP and cut them out. All and all a very simple card!

Well actually it is Rustic Rooster, a Level 2 Hostess set. I got this set out last night with no direction in mind, I just started stamping and really like where it ended up. There will be no recipe for this card because it is one of those where I just grabbed the ink until I got it like I wanted it. I can tell you some of the colors I used were Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Red Riding Hood Red, Really Rust and Black. I used the Aqua Painter on the rooster and sponged the color on top of the image. The rooster was masked before adding the background stamp. I embossed with white the curly curls stamp in the set. I hope this all makes sense!

I used some Bella Rose paper and Red Riding Hood Red DSP also. The image was stamped on Vanilla CS.

I got out Thoughts and Prayers again, I can tell this is going to be my go to set when I need a simple, pretty card. I love the images in this set! I used Bella Birds DSP, one of our new white brads and Pink Pirouette Ribbon. I decided to stamp on a saying at the last minute. I cut out the flowers and popped them on a tiny pieces of dimensionals. The flowers are embossed with Iridescent Ice.

It is a beautiful sunny day here and yesterday I saw my first daffodils of the season! I can also see green shoots of my perennials starting to poke thru the ground. Whoo Hoo!

I made a couple of cards with this new stamp set (Friends 24-7) yesterday while I was working on my class cards for next month.

I made this card yesterday using some more of my Delicate Dots SAB paper. I really am enjoying the colors in this package and really love the new Taffeta Ribbon with it. The tree image was stamped with White Craft Ink and Embossed with White Embossing Powder.

I finally bought the Nursery Necessities Stamp set right after I made the baby book as my project of the month. I have looked at it several times but just took forever to make up my mind. I needed a card to go with the album and saw the perfect one at SCS made by atomicbutterfly and had to totally case it!

I also made a set of 3 x 3 note cards to match for thank you notes. The ribbon is not part of the cards, it is just holding the note cards together. I pulled it down so it didn't block the boat image. I used my square nestabilities and the Big Shot for the scalloped pieces.

Stampin Up has come up with some wonderful tree stamp sets in this catalog, this is one of them, Branch Out. Don't you love the tire swing?

My new stuff came today and I couldn't wait to ink my new Good Friend stamp set. I love the bird and the gorgeous designer paper that matches it. I will add a tag below the bow when I know what kind of greeting I need.

My friend Kathi made me this card that Karen designed. It was a card we were going to make at the PJ party and we never got this far. I think it is adorable!

I have been busy the last two days reorganizing my stamps. I have finally alphabetized them to see if I can find them easier. I am beginning to think that stamps multiply at night or if you are not in the room, I didn't realize I had so many! I have always said I would not sell them but I am beginning to rethink that thought. Thanks to Nelda for the idea on how to handle my situation. I was so impressed when I saw her organization that I copied some of what she did. I really picked the wrong room for my craft room, I should of used our bonus room upstairs!

Here is another SAB card for you. I made it at Nelda's Open House the other day.  I really love the DSP, Delicate Dots available only during SAB that this card uses, and there are 4 sheets of each design!

I also wanted to share with you this cute little treat holder made using the Big Shot and the envelope die. Celeste brought this project for us to do at the PJ party. Isn't it cute? The DSP is Rainbow Sherbet and the stamp used for the heart is from Simply Said.

I have several SAB cards to share with you and here is the first one using Botanical Blooms. I used all SAB products on this card.

This was going to be my card for us to do at the PJ party until I took so long designing it that I thought my demo friends might just drown me in the hot tub if I choose it. It will make an adorable baby card if you need one.

I stamped the hippo twice and cut out the teeth and tusk. His toenails are painted red with a dab of Crystal Effects. I cut out dots and glued them down. I used a square nestability for the layer but you could also use the SU scallop edge punch if you have it. All of the card edges were sponged using Pretty in Pink for dimension.

This is another card we made at the PJ party last week. Karen brought this card for us to do. It doesn't show up real well on the card but the front is scored every 1 inch on both sides to create a tile effect.

I made this card for a challenge I decided to do yesterday. I decided to use colors that I had never put together before.

I was so excited to see this set in the new catalog along with the wonderful designer paper to go with it. I grew up in a family that played cards and my grandmother would of loved this set. The cards are stamped on Glossy White and embossed with clear.

There were 5 of us here and we had the best time, this little top note purse was the first project we did. We got to laughing while doing it and you would of thought none of us had stamped before. One of the gals is a teacher and she started telling the story about a student she has and her name was Unique. Don't you know when it came time to stamp the letters on the purse I grabbed the U instead of X? I guess you had to be here!

I have the project of the month done and will be posting it later today. It is a cute photo album made with a Simply Scrappin' Kit.

Friday night I had a pajama party with a few of my demo friends and we stamped all night and a little right before breakfast. We had so much fun! Here are a couple of the projects we did.

My friend Kathi designed this cute Giradelli holder using the Petal Card with the Big Shot. The candy is behind the pull out Love Card.

We actually made this one later in the afternoon at my upline's (Joann) house. We had our Christmas party yesterday. It is filled with candy! We also made a very cute little album.
