Project of the Month - Birthday Card In a Tin

August, 09

This is a project I made for a Convention Swap I did.  I had to make just one sample and got back a CD with over 100 more 3D projects. How great is that?

Supplies:
• Party Hearty and Birthday Bliss Stamps:
• Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Gable Green, Only Orange
• Paper: Kaleidoscope DSP, Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Gable Green, Only Orange
and Whisper White
• Other: White Organza Ribbon, Build a Brad, Five Flower Punch, Sizzix Scallop Die, Tag Punches, Corner Rounder Punch, Dimensionals, Turquoise Ribbon

Instructions:
1. Cut 12 pieces of designer paper smaller than the size of the tin you are using. Before taping the pieces together insert a piece of 3 inch ribbon into each end. Quarter round the edges.

2. Cut 6 scallops and 6 circles.

3. Stamp desired images and attach to scallops.

4. Cut a strip of DSP to decorate the tin. Attach a piece of ribbon and tie with a bow. To make flower cut a 3 inch piece of DSP 6 inches long. Score at half inch intervals. Fold piece into hills and valleys. Using red sticky tape affix DSP and shape into flower. Use a large glue dot to affix to top of tin. Punch out a piece of cardstock with the 5 Flower punch. Affix with a glue dot. Put Build a Brad thru center of flower. Decorate top of Build a Brad.
